Hi. I’m Ricardo “Rick” Cordeiro, Welcome to my Website
I’m originally from Brampton, Ontario, Canada, but moved over to Portugal in ’95.
For the first 5 years I lived in the beautiful Nazaré, which I only noticed after I moved away.
During my University years, I lived in Aveiro, Portugal where I was taking Computer and Telematics Engineering at the University of Aveiro.
Professionally I’ve done some GNU/Linux System Administration at the Heterogeneous Networking Group of the Institute of Telecomunications in Aveiro, for 2 years.
From February 2008 – August 2008 I was working as Software Quality Assurance Engineer for Intelligent Telecom Networks at PT Inovação in Aveiro aswell.
As of September 2008 I became a Software Quality Assurance Consultant at Novabase Consulting in Lisbon, and as of September a Management Student at ISCAL
At this moment I’m interested in gaining experience with Project Management, Account Management, Client Management and Technical Project Management roles, while maintaining a hands-on approach on projects..
I’m also keen on having some information about the ITIL and PMP certification. Any info you could get me, i’d appreciate it.
Where have I been
I’ve been around… Toronto, Montreal, New York, Denver, Washington, Orlando, Tenerife, Palma de Mallorca, Marocco and all over Portugal. My most recent trip was Rio de Janeiro, Brasil!
Next places on my itinerary, London, Madrid or Berlin. In the long run, Australia, and Hong Kong.
What do I wanna do
I would like to live for a period abroad, maybe Germany or the U.K. The States would be great aswell, or go back home to Canada..
Currently my job allows me to travel the world, and like I mentioned previously, my first international stop was Casablana, Morocco.
